Al-Burhan Relieves AJOC Chairperson

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), 1st Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan issued a decree according to which Maj. Gen Mohammad Alawi Kuku Mukhayar is sent to retirement as of 20 October 2023.

Al-Burhan also relieved Mukhayar from his position as Chairperson of Abyei Joint Oversight Committee AJOC.
