Egypt: Any Political Solution in Sudan should base on a Sudanese Vision

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry affirmed that any actual political solution in Sudan should base on a purely Sudanese vision emanating from the Sudanese themselves without dictates or pressures from any external parties.

Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that Minister Shoukry affirmed Egypt’s deep concern during the meeting on Sudan’s slide into a humanitarian disaster as a result of the ongoing fighting, affirming the importance of preserving the Sudanese State institutions, as they are the backbone of preserving the unity and integrity of the Sudanese State.
