80% of Customs Clearance Sector lost due to the War

A customs broker revealed that the customs clearance sector lost more than 80% of its work in exports and imports due to the war.
In his statement to (Sudan Events ), he attributed the matter to the shutdown of factories, the increase in marine insurance, and the shutdown of major companies due to the targeting of the Houthis, indicating that exports were greatly affected by the war and the opening of new markets in the city of Al-Daba and before it Madani, and he considered that it increased the value of local transportation and handling addition to the increase in marine insurance for shipping companies, which increased the cost that is reflected in the competition for global prices.
