hab Falah.. the maker of joy and the mighty of thoughts

Sudan Events – Magda Hassan

Small details make a difference in life, an effort that you may see as simple, but it makes a difference in people’s lives, and this is what Ihab Mahmoud Falah, owner of the Dar Falah Folk Singing Forum who currently resides in the city of Omdurman, does. He makes love despite the war, and perhaps what Falah does precisely is what His teacher, Muhammad Muhammadin, described him in a recording praising his efforts, as he described him as “a maker of joy and a master of thoughts,” indicating that what he is currently doing is a kind of normalization. Considering that keeping people in place is a very big task after panic entered the people and made them leave their homes, Muhammad did not exaggerate when he described what a farmer was doing as jihad, a kind of jihad and the first line of defense, or as he said, civil jihad. So what does Ihab do?

Attended forum

He reduced the answer to a simple act, as he stacked chairs in front of his house, prepared tea, and started singing, and people flocked to this popular forum, which the war changed its place, but it did not change his idea or cancel his goals. Ihab Mahmoud Falah, Falah House for Popular Song, works on managing the forum. He has been a farmer for seventeen years, “After the Corona and the revolution, he started working in artistic studios. We would go to the creative person in his home and we would focus on the elderly and the deceased, and hospitality is for us to serve ourselves.” he said in an interview with (Al-Ahdath). “This idea has a strange pleasure. The war came and drove people away, and I did not turn away from the idea. I have my artist friends who are there. We sing emotional songs. Neighborhood people and those I call come to us.” He added.

Candle in the dark

Ihab said that the work he does is “a simple topic that has a good effect on people, contrary to what we hear about singing in Cairo and in Dubai, which we hear and do not like. He believes that those inside are more deserving of entertainment… Here we need to get people out of the atmosphere of war.”
Artists abroad are each individual and have their own circumstances, but the country is in a state of war that needs a little appreciation, and what they do serves no purpose.”
Ihab Muhammad Falah is still at his home in Omdurman, living the life he knows.
“He is in Omdurman, the second hot revolution, the place of the forum, and he is simply ‘bring out the chairs, make me tea, and meet the people.’ He is the one who creates creativity and spreads joy among the people through moments of authentic joy.” He said. “A while ago, the people of the state and the security apparatus contacted me about preparations for the victory celebrations, but the Atbara march made the idea not happen.” He said. “I do not mean to brag, but I have a good group of artists and musicians, and they are the reason for the success, and God willing, we will contribute to the reform of the country and the return of the citizens.” He added.
Ihab’s situation is that he lit a candle instead of cursing the darkness, and that his project is an idea that can be implemented anywhere.
