Sudan participates in Activities of the Arab-Japanese Economic Forum

Sudan participated in the activities of the 5th session of the Arab-Japanese Economic Forum held in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, during the period from July 10 to 11
While the first day of the forum was allocated to the business and economic conference between the public and private sectors.
The second day included the activities of the conference, which will address issues of Arab economic development, Japanese flexibility and sustainability. The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, is scheduled to present Sudan’s statement on Thursday, July 11.
Many meetings will also be held on the sidelines of the forum, including a meeting with the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Minister of State at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in addition to meetings with some heads of Japanese financial and development institutions such as JICA, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Bank of Japan for International Cooperation. Jibril is scheduled to give a lecture entitled Current Situation and Reconstruction of Sudan at Meiji University in Japan.
