The SAF and the RSF Militia exchanged on Friday air and artillery strikes in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, while residents continued to flee the city.
According to “Sudan Tribune”, the SAF’ warplanes carried out air strikes in the early hours of Friday morning on Rapid Support RSF Militia sites south, east and north of El Fasher city.
Meanwhile, the support militia shelled several sites inside El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur State, with heavy artillery.
Before that, at midnight on Thursday, El Fasher witnessed intermittent clashes with light and heavy weapons between the SAF and the movement forces on the one hand and the Rapid Support ForcesRSF on the other.
In addition, the displacement of El Fasher residents continued to escape the intense military operations in the city.
According to humanitarian activists who informed “Sudan Tribune”, about 3,000 people fled El Fasher in the past hours and reached the Salloum area, which is about 20 kilometers west of El Fasher.
