New Increase in Fuel Prices in Shendi

Shendi local government in River Nile state announced (Sunday) a new increase in fuel prices.
The Director of Economic Affairs and Rapporteur of the Emergency Economic Committee in Shendi, Abdul Qayyum Abdul Wahab, described the increase to (Sudan Events ) as simple, indicating that the price of a liter of diesel became SDGd 2242 compared to its previous price of SDGs 1920, while the price of a liter of diesel reached SDGs 2287 compared to its previous price of SDGs 2000 .
Abdul Wahab justified the matter by the increase in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Sudanese pound.
The fuel stations witnessed (Sunday) a noticeable crowding after it was circulated in the circles that the new fuel increase would be implemented after the existing quantity runs out.
