The Minister of Defense to summon the Director of the Civil Aviation Authority from Cairo

The Sudanese Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Yassin Ibrahim, summoned from Egypt Hussein Nayel Ahmed Al-Mahi and officially assigned him to be Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Ministry of Defense.
The appointment of the new Director comes to succeed Fakhr al-Din Othman, who was relieved from the position last week upon his request, for health reasons.
Lieutenant General Yassin’s options were limited to the Director of Air Navigation, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, and the Director of the Safety Department, Hussein Nayel. He decided on the stated and issued a decision today, Monday, assigning him to the position.
