Economist: External Bodies caused Collapse of the Pound
Sudan Events Nahid Oshi
Economist Dr. Awad Allah Musa accused external parties and those with an agenda “he did not name” of causing the collapse of the Sudanese pound and the rise in the prices of foreign currencies “the dollar”, and said that the rise in prices is illogical, non-objective, impractical and not related to economic causes and it is natural for them to decline because they are made by speculators and those with an “economic war” agenda from some external parties, and he added in a statement to “Sudan Events ” “With a few treatments, the causes will disappear with the disappearance of the influencer and this is what happened in the following value of currencies where the State and the competent authorities took measures against speculators and bodies with external connections in the demand for the dollar, which led to a gradual decline in the dollar to what it was at an earlier time,
He said “It is known to everyone that the price of the dollar is always determined by banking procedures in the Bank of Sudan and there is a slight difference between the official and parallel price.
The following are the treatments that Awad Allah warned of the need to tighten economic security measures, in addition to continuing the flexible offering by the Central Bank of Sudan CBS to demand the dollar, provided that policies and procedures continue to activate the country’s trade balance to ensure the stability of the dollar price.
