In a post on Facebook, Okasha made observations on the situation of the channel’s employees, “There is good news in the news. The announcement of the Blue Nile Channel’s readiness to resume broadcasting from Omdurman is a source of joy and a positive indicator of the return of life and the near end of the damned war. The Blue Nile Channel has contributed greatly to uniting the people of Sudan through its programs by focusing on the fact that arts and heritage are among the unifiers of the nation. The important question is… where are the workers and broadcasters? According to my knowledge, most of them are outside Sudan, just as Cairo includes most of the workers in Sudan TV. According to my knowledge, I think that the channel’s director, Ammar Sheela, is in Sudan if he has not left for Egypt, and that the financial director, Essam Adam, is still holding out in the city of Omdurman, and the news department also appeared during the visit of the young governor, Ahmed.
