Turkish authorities have applied to join the BRICS group, according to Bloomberg, citing sources.
According to the agency’s report on Monday, Turkey aims to increase its influence in the world and expand its relations with developing countries.
Bloomberg stated that the issue of expanding the group might be discussed during the next BRICS summit, scheduled to be held from October 22-24 in Kazan, Russia.
