Sudan and China Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement in Defense

On Friday, Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, attended the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between the Sudanese Defense Industries System and the Chinese company POLY. This agreement, signed during the China-Africa Cooperation Forum in Beijing, aims to enhance defense and security readiness across multiple military fronts.
The signing ceremony was attended by Sudan’s Ambassador to China, Omar Sadiq, and leaders from both sides. General Engineer Mirghani Idris Suleiman signed for the Sudanese defense industries, while Huoyan Giemen, the general manager of POLY, signed for the Chinese side, affirming that this agreement strengthens the strategic partnership between Sudan and China.
