Nagelsmann Warns of Netherlands’ “Very Talented” Players

Germany’s head coach Julian Nagelsmann has cautioned his players about the Netherlands’ “very talented” squad ahead of their UEFA Nations League clash on Tuesday in Amsterdam. Despite Germany’s unbeaten run in 90 minutes since November 2023, Nagelsmann emphasized that the Dutch side poses a greater threat than their previous opponent, Hungary.

Germany and the Netherlands have a storied rivalry, with memorable clashes, including the 1974 World Cup final and the 1988 European Championship semifinal.

Nagelsmann praised young German stars Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz, who shone in their recent 5-0 victory over Hungary, saying they have “immense potential.”
