Jawama’ Tribe Declares Support for the Army in the Battle of Dignity

The Chairman of the Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met with a delegation from the General Union of Jawama’ tribe at his office on Tuesday.
Mohamed Babikir Bureima, Chairman of the Crisis Management Committee and member of the Jawama’ delegation, said in a press statement that the delegation praised the great sacrifices of the Armed Forces and other regular forces in confronting the rebellion led by the Rapid Support Forces militia. The delegation, which came from North Kordofan state and included Jawama’ tribe members from safe states, briefed the Chairman on the crimes and violations committed by the Al-Daglo militia against the region’s citizens.
Bureima reiterated the General Union’s support for the Armed Forces in the Battle of Dignity against the rebel militia, noting that many tribe members had joined the popular resistance to defend their land and honor.
