Member of the Sovereignty Council and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, stressed that there will be no compromise or peace with the RSF militia or its supporters in any form.
Al-Atta affirmed that the country will only be handed over through democratic elections.
He visited the Artillery Corps Command in Atbara during his tour of the Nile River State, accompanied by General Mohamed Abbas Al-Labeeb, Deputy Director-General of the General Intelligence Service, and several field commanders. He was received by the Commander of the Artillery Corps and leaders of the regular forces in the Nile River State.
Al-Atta praised the efforts of all factions of the nation.
He also visited the wounded and injured in Atbara, touring the city amid a warm reception from the citizens, whose chants expressed their support for the armed forces in their war against the rebel militia.
For his part, the Commander of the Artillery Corps, Major General Mohamed Al-Amin, reaffirmed the commitment to the leadership, stressing unity of purpose and goal, drawing their legitimacy from the steadfast and proud Sudanese people’s will.
