Attorney General: We Have Arrested 105 Mercenbaries from 12 Countries

Sudan’s Attorney General, Al-Fatih Tayfour, revealed that the UN fact-finding committee’s recommendations will be voted on by the end of October. He noted that Sudan needs 24 votes from the 47 members of the Human Rights Council. Tayfour criticized the committee for overstepping its mandate, accusing it of pursuing political goals. He also disclosed that Sudan has detained 105 mercenaries from 12 countries and issued red notices for 16 individuals, while another 22 are being pursued.
