 The authorities in the “Daba” district in northern Sudan decided on Monday to confirm and confirm the confirmation of the purchase of agriculture after a widespread outbreak of the cholera epidemic, while the deadly disease continues to spread in large parts of Gedaref State in the east of the country and areas in the capital, Khartoum.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Health in the Northern State stated that “about 307 simple cases were recorded, including 18 deaths in the Daba area.”
He added that the authorities in the Daba locality “closed all schools in its three stages of temperature from Tuesday to Saturday until next Saturday, and closed all shops and sites and food purchases so that you do not notice the last one.”
All local departments were also closed from 10 am until the next morning, as well as the pharmacies and bakeries department.
In the last conference, and since then, the Ombada Emergency Room reported an increase in banking services with cholera during the past week.
A member of the chamber explained to “Sudan Tribune” that the medical office received reports of 800 mild cholera deaths, including 20 deaths, confirming the presence of 400 cases of malnutrition among pregnant children.
He added that the areas most affected by the epidemic in Ombada are squares “4, 3, 2, 1, 24, 25” in addition to the Al-Qamar suburb.
Medical sources at Faw Hospital, Al-Qadarif (east of the country) revealed that cholera cases have risen to 400 cases, including 41 deaths.
