Gold prices in Sudan witnessed a significant rise on Saturday, in line with global gold price increases. The price of 24-carat gold reached 51,336 Sudanese pounds (about 85.74 USD), while 21-carat gold rose to 44,920 Sudanese pounds (about 75.02 USD). Jewelers attributed the price increase to the rise in foreign currency rates against the Sudanese pound.
