The Joint Forces of armed struggle movements allied with the Sudanese army stated that they repelled two attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia in the West Darfur axis, inflicting heavy losses on the militia in both lives and equipment. According to a statement from the Joint Forces, RSF elements withdrew from the battlefield following their defeat, leaving behind the bodies of their dead and destroyed equipment. The Joint Forces also announced their control over the areas of Kulbus and Jebel Um near the city of Geneina, the capital of West Darfur state.
