Ethiopian Fano Militias Hold 6 Sudanese Trucks Hostage, Demand Ransom

The Ethiopian Fano militias, fighting the Ethiopian army in the Amhara region bordering Sudan’s Gedaref State, have detained six Sudanese trucks loaded with cooking gas, driven by Sudanese drivers in the area of “Kant.”
According to Sudan Tribune, the militias demanded a large ransom from the Ethiopian oil and gas company “NOC” in exchange for the release of the trucks and drivers, who have been held for more than three days in the Amhara region.
