Appointment of East Figure Assistant Director General of Sudanese Marine Lines

The Board of Directors of the Sudanese Marine Lines Company issued a decision appointing Omar Khalifa Ali as Assistant Director General of the Port Sudan Sector. Director of Media and Public Relations at the Sudanese Marine Lines Company, Abdul Raouf Babiker, confirmed that Omar Khalifa is one of the people of eastern Sudan who holds high academic degrees in the field of maritime transport. Khalifa has multiple experiences in a number of maritime transport companies, in addition to advanced qualitative courses in this field. He indicated that the decision comes as a step in distinguishing and appointing people from eastern Sudan to leadership positions.
Babiker also noted that the company absorbed during this year 59% of graduates from Beja people and the equivalent of 94% in blue-collar jobs.
