Jaber Informs U.S. Delegation of Militia Violations Against Civilians

Sudan Events – Reports
Sovereign Council member and assistant army commander, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber, highlighted the atrocities and violations committed by the rebellious RSF militia against the Sudanese people.
On Sunday, Jaber met with representatives of the U.S.-based Fookbo Foundation, Mr. Gavin Andrew and Mr. Christopher Charles, in the presence of Federal Health Minister Dr. Haitham Mohammed Ibrahim.
Jaber pointed out that the RSF had destroyed many of the country’s vital systems, especially healthcare institutions and electrical facilities, and obstructed the delivery of humanitarian aid to areas under their control.
He briefed the American delegation on the steps the Sudanese government had taken to facilitate humanitarian aid through various channels, as well as the assistance provided to organizations and donors, including visas and permits to deliver humanitarian services to those affected by the war across different regions.
For his part, Federal Health Minister Dr. Haitham Mohammed Ibrahim stated that the American delegation expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the Sudanese government’s efforts to aid humanitarian operations. He noted that the delegation showed a deep understanding of the war’s nature and the conditions in areas controlled by the armed forces, and the challenges faced by citizens in areas under militia control.
He added that the U.S. delegation promised to continue advocating for support for Sudanese people in international forums and organizations to bring peace to Sudan. The delegation also pledged to implement several critical projects related to supply chains, supporting the health system and hospitals, and that reconstruction and rehabilitation work would begin soon in collaboration with Fookbo Foundation partners.
