The prominent leader of the National Congress Party, Professor Ibrahim Ghandour, responded to claims that the party’s leaders have returned to take advantage of the war and regain power.
In a Facebook post on Thursday, Ghandour said, “Do those who return to their homeland come to rule, or do they come to be with their families and people? We also ask, when will those who question the return of the National Congress Party’s leadership themselves return? We hope for the day when all Sudanese citizens will return and unite in agreement.”
