Monitoring has revealed a significant drop in the prices of consumer goods in Al-Fasher city after a recent sharp rise and a shortage in supplies to the city.

Citizens reported that the price of a sack of lentils dropped to 160,000 pounds from 200,000 pounds, while the price of a carton of pasta decreased from 100,000 pounds to 75,000 pounds. The price of a 50 kg sack of sugar dropped to 150,000 pounds through the “Bankak” app and 300,000 pounds in cash, compared to the previous price of 350,000 pounds. The price of a 25 kg sack of flour also dropped to 85,000 pounds, compared to its previous price of 220,000 pounds via “Bankak” and 185,000 pounds in cash.
