The Sudan Doctors Network reported that eight people were killed and others injured in an attack by the RSF militia on the village of Umm Malihah in Al-Jazeera State.
In a statement on Saturday, the network condemned the attack on unarmed civilians in the village, calling it a shocking escalation of violence against innocent citizens. The statement also stressed the importance of protecting human rights.
The network called on the militia to cease violence against civilians and to stop attacking villages in Al-Jazeera, noting that such actions clearly violate international law and human rights standards.
Additionally, the network urged regional and international human rights organizations to take necessary measures to hold those responsible for these crimes accountable and protect civilians.
