The Sudanese Doctors’ Network reported that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia killed two people and injured five others in a serious attack when an armed unit affiliated with the RSF entered the Hajar Al-Asal area, south of the Nile River state, on Sunday evening.
The network condemned “the killing and forced displacement of citizens” from the villages of Hajar Al-Asal, south of Shendi city. It added that the area has become depopulated due to the indiscriminate killing, violence, and forced displacement of civilians, which violates international laws guaranteeing the right to life and freedom of movement in conflict zones.
