UN Warns: 345,000 Gaza Residents Face “Catastrophic” Hunger This Winter

A UN assessment today (Thursday) indicated that around 345,000 Gaza residents will face “catastrophic” hunger this winter due to declining aid delivery, warning of the risk of famine across the region, according to AFP.

The assessment, prepared by UN agencies and NGOs, stated that this number is in comparison to the current 133,000 people classified as suffering from “catastrophic food insecurity.”
