King Charles Honored in Sydney After Australian Officials’ Snub

King Charles is set to receive a rare honor at Sydney Harbour following a noticeable snub from Australian officials before his arrival on Friday, according to the British newspaper, The Independent.
The newspaper reported that the white sails of the Sydney Opera House would be illuminated for four minutes with images from past royal visits to mark the arrival of the King and Queen Camilla.
The New South Wales government has approved this rare honor at an estimated cost of £50,000.
As King Charles and Queen Camilla prepare for their nine-day visit to Australia starting Friday, reports indicate that every state governor declined the invitation to attend the royal reception in Canberra on October 21.
