Foreign currency prices on the parallel market have fluctuated, showing a mix of declines, increases, and stability at the latest levels.
According to foreign exchange dealers, the parallel market dollar price on Saturday ranged between 2,650 and 2,750 Sudanese pounds. The Saudi riyal rose, trading between 704.78 and 731.38 Sudanese pounds. The Egyptian pound traded between 54.53 and 56.59 Sudanese pounds, while the Emirati dirham traded between 722.07 and 749.31 Sudanese pounds. The euro ranged between 2,880.43 and 2,989.13 Sudanese pounds, and the British pound traded between 3,441.55 and 3,571.42 Sudanese pounds. The Qatari riyal ranged between 728.02 and 755.49 Sudanese pounds, and the Omani rial traded between 6,842.10 and 7,105.26 Sudanese pounds.
Foreign currency prices in Sudanese banks remained stable. At Omdurman National Bank, the buying price for the dollar was 1,990 Sudanese pounds, while the selling price was 2,004.92 pounds. Faisal Islamic Bank recorded a buying price of 1,985 Sudanese pounds and a selling price of 1,999.89 pounds. Bank of Khartoum maintained its buying price at 1,982 pounds, while its selling price was 1,996.87 pounds.
