The Army: Kekal Sided with the Right and Decided to Fight Alongside the Armed Forces

Sudan Events – Reports
The Sudanese army announced on Sunday that the commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Al-Jazeera state, Abu Aqila Kekal, has aligned with the armed forces along with a group of his troops, declaring his pardon following the orders of the army’s general commander.
Kekal surrendered to the Sudanese army in the Abaiteer Mountains area, northeast of Rufaa city in Al-Jazeera state, under the supervision of the commander of the Al-Butana area, Brigadier Ahmed Shaadin.
Army spokesperson Brigadier Nabil Abdullah stated in a press release that Kekal has chosen to stand on the side of righteousness, leaving the ranks of the rebels and deciding to fight alongside the army.
He explained that this step came after they realized the falsehood and deception of the claims made by the terrorist Al-Daglo militia and their allies, according to the statement.
The armed forces welcomed this brave move, stating that their doors remain open to anyone who sides with the nation and its armed forces. The general reaffirmed the commitment of the Sovereignty Council’s chairman and the army’s general commander to pardon any rebel who sides with the nation and reports to the nearest military command in Sudan.
