Fierce battles broke out between the army and the RSF militia, using heavy weaponry and artillery, along the Ar-Rahad front in the direction of Al-Qadarif State.
Sources informed Sudan Tribune that the Sudanese army advanced through ground operations employing heavy artillery, successfully taking control of the Tekina area in Al-Dinder locality in Sennar State, adjacent to Ar-Rahad locality.
