The army’s operations commander in the Al-Butana region, Brigadier General Ahmed Shaa El-Din, was killed on Tuesday during battles against the Rapid Support Forces militia in Tambul. Brigadier General Shaa El-Din oversaw the handover of the Rapid Support Forces commander in Gezira State, Abu Aqla Kikil, to the armed forces in the Jabal Al-Labeitor area in Al-Butana.
