Urgent Appeal from the “Industrial Chambers” to the Governor of Khartoum

The former Secretary-General of the Industrial Chambers, Abdul Rahman Abbas, expressed his happiness and pride in the progress of the Sudanese army, reclaiming and controlling several areas and inflicting heavy losses on the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). He expressed hope for the war to end soon. In an interview with Al-Ahdath, Abbas urged the Governor of Khartoum to intervene urgently to restore electricity to the industrial area in Omdurman, as it has resumed operations, and to provide electricity to enable factories to resume work and provide locally manufactured goods to all safe areas. This comes after the factories have stopped working since the outbreak of the war in mid-April 2023, following the RSF’s rebellion against the Sudanese armed forces.
