Pressure from American Mediation on Sudanese Parts in Jeddah

Al-Sharq News Foundation said that identical sources informed it that the American administration is putting pressure on the Sudaneses Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support (RSF) to avoid entering into military confrontations in the city of El-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur – west of Sudan.

She added that the American diplomats, Daniel Rubenstein and John Godfrey, the US ambassador to Khartoum, asked the RSF not to attack the city of El Fasher.

The SAF and the RSF Militia resumed their negotiations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with Saudi-American mediation and the participation of the African Union and IGAD on the twenty-sixth of last October.
