Samantha Power, Director of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), condemned the attacks carried out by the Rapid Support Forces militia against civilians in Al-Jazeera State.
Power stated that the militia has committed acts of sexual violence against women and girls, resulting in the deaths of hundreds, adding, “These heinous attacks must end, and the Rapid Support Forces militia must be held accountable for its crimes.”
