The Federal Ministry of Education confirmed that the secondary school certificate examinations will be held as scheduled on December 28th.
On Wednesday, Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Omar, the acting Commissioner of the Federal Ministry of Education, received at the Secondary School Certificate Examination Center in Atbara, Dr. Mohammed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majid Abu Qurun, the acting Governor of the Nile River State, Ahmad Hamid Ahmad Yes, the Director-General of the Ministry of Education in the Nile River State, the acting Minister, as well as security committee leaders in the state, trade union leaders for education workers, and the professional union of teachers in the state, along with educational leaders in Atbara.
The acting governor of the Nile River State confirmed the state’s readiness for all matters related to education and the examinations, by mobilizing all resources and overcoming any obstacles to ensure that the examination process proceeds as planned. He also announced the formation of a high committee for the examinations in the Nile River State, with one of its recommendations being a visit to the examination center in Atbara to confirm that the examinations will take place on time and to send a message to all those with ill intentions that the exams will be held and education will continue, in line with the state’s slogan: “Education does not wait.”
Ahmad Khalifa Omar, the acting Commissioner of the Federal Ministry of Education, welcomed the visit, describing it as the most significant response to those spreading rumors about the postponement of the exams. He expressed gratitude for the great cooperation of the Nile River State government, the security committee, and the state’s Ministry of Education, noting that all stages leading up to the printing process have been completed, which is expected to begin in the coming days. The timetable for the secondary school certificate exams is expected to be announced next Saturday.
