Ibrahim Jaber Launches Reconstruction Projects in Northern Sudan

Sudan’s Sovereignty Council member, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber, launched reconstruction projects in Northern State to rebuild areas damaged by floods. The initiative includes delivering winter supplies for mining workers, acknowledging their role in supporting the national economy. Jaber praised the contributions of the mining sector and emphasized its importance in sustaining economic growth. As part of his visit, Jaber handed over five brick factories to local communities and reviewed other social responsibility projects supported by the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company.
The General Manager of the company, Mohamed Tahir Omar, affirmed the mining sector’s capacity to contribute to post-conflict reconstruction, while the company’s office manager in the Northern State noted ongoing and upcoming projects in infrastructure, health, education, and more. This initiative reflects the commitment to community development and the rebuilding of essential services in mining regions.
