Fuel Price Reduction in the Nile River State

The Transport and Petroleum Administration in the Nile River State has announced new fuel prices. According to an official release by the Public Transport and Petroleum Administration, the price of a liter of gasoline has been reduced to 2,771 Sudanese pounds in the cities of Shendi and Al-Matammah, 2,758 pounds in Atbara and Al-Damer, 2,763 pounds in Barbar, and 2,786 pounds in the Lake District.

The decision also sets a state fee of 15 pounds per liter and a student fee of 2 pounds. Additionally, a 30-pound price difference per liter will be allocated to the state’s Ministry of Finance, with transport price differences being allocated to the Ministry of Finance if petroleum products are received from state depots. These transport fees are 28 pounds per liter in Al-Damer and Atbara, 41 pounds per liter in Shendi, Al-Matammah, and Abu Hamad, 33 pounds in Barbar, and 56 pounds in the Lake District.
