Seven People Killed in Militia Shelling of Displaced Camp in El-Fasher

At least seven people were killed and dozens injured on Saturday in an artillery shelling carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the “Abushok” displaced persons camp in El-Fasher.
A statement issued by the Abushok Camp Emergency Room said, “Continuing their series of crimes and violations against citizens, the RSF shelled the Abushok Camp market with more than ten shells, leading to the death of seven displaced persons and injuries to others.”
In a related context, eyewitnesses told Sudan Tribune that RSF artillery targeted civilian areas in the western and southern neighborhoods, as well as the city center of El-Fasher.
Meanwhile, an airstrike by an army warplane targeted RSF positions in the eastern and southern parts of El-Fasher.
