Transitional Committee for Goldsmiths and Gold Traders in Kassala

Goldsmiths and gold traders in Kassala State have formed a transitional committee representing all sectors in the gold trade across the state’s markets.

The committee comprises 14 members representing three markets, with Abdul Rahman Ahmed Issa appointed as chairman, Moatasem Mohammed Saleh as secretary-general, and Osman Ibrahim as vice-chairman.

This transitional committee was established following a directive from the Kassala State Governor to form a chamber for goldsmiths, marking the first such chamber in the state. A list of committee members has been submitted to the governor for official approval as the executive committee of the Goldsmiths and Gold Traders Chamber in Kassala State.
