The army downed about 20 drones launched by the Rapid Support Forces to attack the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division and the positions of the Joint Force in Al-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, on Thursday and Friday.
A statement issued by the 6th Infantry Division said, “The ground defenses shot down 16 drones yesterday, Thursday, that tried to target gatherings of civilians and military sites in the western and northern axes.”
A military source confirmed that the army also downed five drones on Friday inside the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division.
