Militia Assassinate Teacher Who Tried to Help Students Attend Sudanese Secondary Exams

The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Othman Hamza, mourned the teacher and education martyr, Al-Hadi Abakr Ismail, who was assassinated by the Rapid Support Forces militia when he attempted to escort students from his school to register for the Sudanese Secondary Certificate exams.
The teacher was killed in the Al-Azhari area of the Jabal Awliya locality in retaliation as he was performing his national duty with dedication, reflecting his deep commitment to his profession.
The governor extended his condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues in the Ministry of Education in Khartoum State. He stated that the deceased gave his life to ensure his students could attend the exams, adding, “The sacrifices of teachers during the war defied the brutality of the militia and exposed their targeting of innocent civilians.”
