Increase in Livestock Exports from Jabalin City
Sudan Events – Follow-up
Jabalin City is experiencing full stability and calm in its security situation, while livestock traders in the Jabalin livestock market in White Nile state have reported an increase in trade activity.
They revealed an increase in the arrival of livestock, which they believe has contributed to stabilizing prices. Prices varied between 100,000 and 180,000 Sudanese pounds for large and medium-sized sheep, and between 50,000 and 80,000 pounds for smaller ones. The price for cattle ranged between 350,000 and 500,000 pounds for medium to large sizes. They also mentioned active export activity, with more than 12 tractors departing every three days to other states and Port Sudan.
