Joint Forces: The Militia Resorted to Writing After Failing to Make Ground Progress

The official spokesman for the Joint Forces of the armed struggle movements, Captain Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, described the security situation in the city of El Fasher as progressing very well.
Hussein, according to the “Al-Muhaqqiq” news site, pointed out that the Sudanese Armed Forces, the Joint Forces of the armed struggle movements, popular resistance, and all heroes in El Fasher are working in good coordination, noting that the battles against the militia are proceeding according to the planned strategy and that the morale of the forces is high to complete the mission to its conclusion.
Hussein stated that the army, joint forces, and supporting forces were able to destroy the core strength of the RSF and its mercenaries, killing most of their field leaders. He added that after failing to make ground progress, the militia resorted to heavy artillery shelling from outside the city and using drones, targeting residential neighborhoods crowded with civilians and IDP camps repeatedly, most recently targeting the Zamzam IDP camp, which is 12 km from El Fasher, for three consecutive days, in addition to attacking shelters and civilian infrastructure.
He confirmed that, soon, a plan and strategy for an offensive will replace the defensive approach.
