Military sources revealed to Darfur24 that a unit from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) surrendered to the army’s Hunters Division in the Al-Qabsha area, 30 km east of Um Ruwaba in North Kordofan.
The sources indicated that the surrendered force consisted of 23 members aboard two combat vehicles, which were armed with a dual cannon. The army made progress east of Um Ruwaba last week after fierce clashes that lasted for two days.
