The Sudanese Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to defending the country and vowed to respond appropriately to any site or facility used by the RSF militia and its allies for military purposes against the state.
In a statement on Tuesday, the army emphasized strict adherence to the rules of engagement and international humanitarian law when targeting hostile positions.
The army accused political factions aligned with the RSF militia of spreading lies after its operations against militia activity. It criticized these groups for remaining silent about the deliberate and horrific atrocities committed by the RSF against civilians and civilian infrastructure across the country.
