The Argentine President Calls for a Global Right-Wing Alliance

Argentine President Javier Milei has called for uniting right-wing forces globally into a coalition to “combat socialism and leftist ideologies, like Roman legions capable of defeating larger armies.”
This fiery appeal was delivered on Saturday in Rome, where Milei attended an event hosted by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The occasion marked the conclusion of the annual political festival for the youth wing of Brothers of Italy, a party rooted in the legacy of the former fascist party. Meloni introduced Milei, who openly supports Israel and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, as a “leader of a cultural revolution in a friendly nation who knows that hard work is the only solution to poverty.”
Milei urged global right-wing parties to rise to their “historic responsibility” and emphasized that unity and broad cooperation are the best strategies. “Organized evil can only be defeated by the unity of the good,” he declared, criticizing the fragmentation of right-wing forces, which he said had cost them dearly in their fight against socialism, leading to decades of national humiliation.
