Khartoum Governor Visits Frontline Areas in Bahri and Provides Urgent Aid to Citizens

The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, visited the frontlines in the Samrab area and congratulated the forces for driving back the enemy.

The governor was accompanied by the head of the Kadaro military region, Major General Nauman Ali Awad Al-Sayed, the head of the Weapons and Ammunition Corps, Major General Nadim Hamid, and the acting head of the Central Reserve Forces, Hadi Sharif, as well as the local police chief and the executive director of the Bahri locality, Abdelrahman Ahmed Abdelrahman.

The governor praised the military’s progress in expelling the militias, who were retreating due to their repeated defeats, and expressed hope for an imminent victory over the militias.

The Governor, along with his delegation, also visited the shelters for citizens coming from Samrab and surrounding areas, emphasizing the state’s commitment to their welfare. He directed Bahri locality to begin setting up feeding stations and providing medical care to the sick, ensuring stability in the area.

Meanwhile, Major General Nauman, commander of the Kadaro military region, confirmed that victory was near and the forces engaged in the Battle of Dignity were advancing steadily, liberating vast areas. He expressed confidence that victory was imminent.

The acting commander of the Central Reserve Forces congratulated the forces advancing in Bahri, reaffirming their resolve to liberate all areas in the locality, noting the high morale of the troops to liberate the entire state.

The Executive Director of Bahri locality, Abdelrahman Ahmed, praised the efforts of the armed forces, other security forces, and the state’s government for supporting the locality and its citizens. He promised to complete the services and ensure their delivery to all safe areas soon.

The governor also inspected the feeding stations providing meals to families and instructed that further support be given to ensure all meals are distributed, while also recommending finding additional sites for the incoming people to prevent overcrowding. He also ensured the preparations for the high school exams for Bahri students, scheduled for the 28th of this month.

In another context, the governor visited the Bahri Locality headquarters, which oversees services to the public and the administrative and service equipment that enables the completion of tasks.
