Sudan Central Bank Clarifies Currency Exchange Process

The Central Bank of Sudan announced that the currency exchange process at banks will continue until December 23. Banks are open to the public for deposits from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The bank stated that domestic bank transfers between banks are available at any time without restrictions. However, transfers through banking apps are capped at a maximum of 15 million Sudanese pounds per day for internal transfers within the same bank, while interbank app transfers are limited to 1 million pounds per day.
