Economist Calls for Addressing Structural Imbalances in Sudan’s Economy

Economist Dr. Haitham Fathi emphasized the need to seriously evaluate past experiences related to the path of Sudan’s economy and avoid repeating its mistakes.

Speaking to Al-Ahdath, Fathi urged for serious and responsible efforts to address the structural imbalances that have plagued Sudan’s economy since independence. He suggested adopting realistic development strategies and programs that strengthen the economic structure, diversify productive activities, and implement policies to capitalize on the vast opportunities available to Sudan’s economy.
